Goodbye!

Hi once more. This may be my last post or maybe I would resume posting one day. I want to talk about this term of the year a little bit before I go.

Technology has always been in our education but with this course which is Educational Technologies we have discovered new tools some of which I have never used before and learned how to use them properly. Technology integration in second language learning is highly helpful because it has no limit in using whether with children, adults or in primary school, universities. With the tools we have discovered in this course I feel more confident about accomplishing on-line tasks.

Among the tasks we have done so far I liked podcasting the most. I don't really know why but I had fun trying to get ready the vox-pop. Although it wasn't so proffessional, I was happy with the result.

What I liked the least was the task about story-telling. There is no such specific reasons why I didn't like it. It just doesn't interest me. Because of that it was a little challenging for me.

I mostly enjoyed throughout the course. The tasks were really refreshing comparing to the regular tasks.

That is all from me for now. Best wishes. 🎆

How To Bake A Souffle Without An Oven 🍮

Hello once more! Welcome to my new post.

I'm back with another task about making a "how-to project". It is a video that is about a demonstration of a process. My friend Halil and I made a video about how to bake a souffle withouth an oven. As I, as a student, don't have an oven in my apartment, sometimes crave for a chocolate cake but I want to bake it myself. So I have searched for if there was a way to make it on the stove and I found this recipe and customized it a little bit. Hope you enjoy it! 😋

I want to mention the tool we've used for the video. It is called Movavi which is a video editor app. Halil mostly did the editing part but I asked him if this app was useful to inform you a little bit about it. He said it is not much of an easy tool to use. But once you get used to using it, it'll become easier to handle. What's more there is a lot of options you can reach on this app.

This task can be used in classes to increase the productivity of the students and make them contribute to social media.

Enjoy our video, see you next time!

Infographics 📃

Heyyyyyy. This time I'm going to introduce you with my very first infographic. Infographics are graphics that are informative as the name suggests. They can be about almost anything; education, science, sports, animals, occupational, donation... Basically anything you can think of.

The tool I've used is Canva this time. If you search for infographics on the site, there will be dozens of samples which you can use as the base of your infographic.

I think creating an infographic in a second language lesson can be beneficial for a couple things. Making students focus on different topics, study them and process what they have learned into an infographic would make the information gathered permanent.

Here is the infographic I've created. Stay safe till the next time!

Goodbye!
